- Make ready 2 large chicken bone core
- Take Water
- Prepare 3 can Organic chicken broth
- Get 2 packages mixed veggies (or whatever veggie you prefer)
- Prepare 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Get 1 large Bag of egg noodles
- Take salt and pepper
The flour amounts are not specific because it's always different. I just add more as needed to keep the dough workable. Pat chicken dry with paper towels; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Very easy and has a homemade taste.
Instructions to make Homemade chicken noodle:
- Fill deep pot with hot water and boil chicken cores for about 15-20 minutes
- While chicken cores are boiling. Cut up the chicken breasts into small chunks and season
- After cores are boiled put a big bowl into the sink and strain the boiling water from the cores with a strainer, so all thats in the bowl in the sink is the boiled water with chicken flavor from the cores
- Throw out the cores and put boiled water back into pot, empty some of the water so you have a little less then half the pot and put back on stove. Add the cans of chicken broth for extra flavor and put chicken and veggies in until boiled and cooked through
- When chicken is almost done add the egg noodles last (egg noodles cook very quickly)
- Mix it all together add salt and pepper to your liking and Enjoy😊
I did not cook the chicken first. I simmered it in the broth with the vegetables for more flavor. Used frozen egg noodles and added garlic. Also added two cans of condensed cream of chicken soup for a creamier soup. I would recommend tasting it before adding salt, it may.
